I started in August 2006, basically when it was still pretty easy to get in. After my year it started getting harder. My only advice is don't be a total screw up in high school.

I worked really hard in high school to getMar 26 2010Accounting
I worked really hard in high school to get the grades and did all the right things national honors and got involved with the community. I was expecting more from my college experience. I started MASON with a positive attitude and I was so looking forward to the college experience what a disappointment. If you choose MASON you would have to most definetly be a local because other wise no one will give you the time of day. Get involved I tried it but these people are hard to get to know, yes there is diversity and I have no problem with that. I am a military brat and I am no stranger to diversity, I have traveled all over the world with my family so diversity I know. MASON may have diversity but unlike all the friends I have made growing up with military travel MASON diversity sucks, no one will talk to you and this year is almost over and I really have made no new friends. If you come to MASON make sure you have plenty of friends outside of the school because you will not make any MASON LIFE LONG college friends. Over all if you decide to give MASON A CHANCE DESPITE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR YEARS AND TRANSFER TO A REAL UNIVERSITY AS SOON AS YOU CAN. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT FUTURE SCHOOLS IN ADVANCE AND LEARN ALL YOU CAN ABOUT THEM BEFORE YOU MAKE A VERY IMPORTANT DECISION AND WHEN YOU READ THE REVIEWS BELIEVE IT ESPECIALLY IF IT COMES FROM EXPERIENCE. MASON SUCKS BIG TIME. IF SOMEONE SAYS THEY THINK ITS A GREAT SCHOOL THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A REAL UNIVERSITY. JUST SAY NO TO MASON....
